How it works
01You list who receives it
Per project, the addresses of your contacts at the client — up to ten.
02PostShip composes the summary
The month's availability, incidents opened and resolved, deploys checked, site checks — the certificate, DNS, indexability.
03With the link to the shareable report
An unlisted public page, always up to date, that shows the same thing over the retained period.
04On the 1st, at 8 am, in the project's time zone
It goes out on its own.
What we're often asked
Will my client see the PostShip name?
The report carries your name and the project's name; PostShip signs at the bottom, discreetly. On the Team plan, the shareable page also drops the mention.
What if the month was bad?
The report says so, with the incidents and their duration. A client who learns of an outage from the report rather than from silence has more reasons to stay: they see someone is watching.
Can I send it myself instead?
Yes: “Send me a preview” gives you the email as it will go out; you can forward it, or disable it and only send the shareable report link.
