App

A cleaner app, by keyboard and by eye

Pages that no longer jump while loading, controls you drive from the keyboard and fields you can finally see.

Nothing spectacular here, on purpose: dozens of details that let an app be used without thinking about it.

Pages that stay put

On refresh as on click, a single loading screen: the one of the page you asked for, with its headings and buttons already in place. Opening a list no longer scrolls the page, and the collapsed menu keeps the same design as the open one. An address that can't be found has its page, in the app as on the site.

By keyboard

Menus, calendars, pickers and button groups are driven with the arrow keys, and focus is no longer lost when a list changes or a button is working. An error message stays until you close it. The browser tab names what you are looking at: the URL, the commit or the incident.

By eye

The field you type in lights up clearly, with the same design everywhere; field outlines and switched-off toggles are visible, in light as in dark, and every toggle setting has its icon. When checks stop arriving, the status line says “Data delayed” instead of a green it can no longer vouch for. And in Preferences, you can stop screens from refreshing automatically.
