Notifications, in the app

A bell in the top bar gathers what matters, marks as read in one gesture and clears itself after thirty days.

Alerts go out by email, on Slack or on Discord. But not everything deserves to interrupt you, and everything that happened while you were away deserves to be found again: that is the bell's job.

The bell's panel open under the top bar: three notifications, one of them unread and marked with a dot.

What notifies

An incident opened or resolved, a deploy failed or held back, a rollback, an invitation, a member who joined, a report sent. Never a successful check: a notification saying everything is fine isn't one.

From the bell

The bell, top right, on desktop and phone, counts unread notifications. Its panel shows the last twenty; each one opens, is marked read or unread, or is deleted on the spot, and “Mark all read” clears the count. Notification settings are one click away, at the bottom of the panel.

The Notifications page

To see everything: a page that filters by kind and state, where read notifications clear all at once. After 30 days, a notification disappears on its own — what matters beyond that lives in the incident and deploy history.
