3 plans, and a single rule to tell them apart: what is paid for is the frequency, the number of URLs and the deploy checks. Discover exists without a card and without a time limit, deploy webhooks included; Pro is made for someone shipping their own site and selling online; Pro Plus adds the 1-minute interval, the probe that spots an outage in 30 seconds, collaborators, the monthly summary and the status page on your domain. The prices and limits on this page are the code's, to the decimal.
The prices
| Discover | Pro | Pro Plus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | €0 / month, no card | €19 / month | €49 / month |
| Yearly | — | €190 / year, i.e. €15.83 / month | €490 / year, i.e. €40.83 / month |
| Yearly saving | — | €38 saved | €98 saved |
12 months for the price of 10. Paid plans are billed from the day you subscribe, with no trial period; beyond 10 projects, or for custom limits, ask for a quote; the detail is on Billing. In the API, the plans are written free, pro and pro_plus.
Monitoring
| Discover | Pro | Pro Plus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Projects | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Monitored URLs (all projects) | 5 | 25 | 100 |
| Cycle interval | 5 min | 2 min | 1 min |
| Outage probe | — | — | 30 s |
| Payment journeys | 1 | 2 | 10 |
| Stripe account, read-only | No | Yes | Yes |
| Check retention (data) | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days |
| Latency anomalies | No | Yes | Yes |
| Domains and certificates: subdomains tracked | 1 | 5 | 25 |
| Journeys: the page | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Third parties: their state on the Overview | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Full site scan (from URLs): pages per month | 50 | 500 | 3000 |
| Third-party scripts monitored | No | Yes | Yes |
A payment journey consumes one URL slot. The URL and project quota is the owner's: a Discover account invited to a Pro client's projects keeps its own project.

Automation
| Discover | Pro | Pro Plus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checks per month from a CI (API) | 30 | 500 | 3000 |
| Collaborators per project | No | No | Yes |
Beyond the CI quota, the call is refused with the exact count — never silently degraded: a CI that lies is worse than a CI that breaks.
“Excerpt”: the page exists and can be read, with a summary and the button to the plan that unlocks it — you know what exists without having to look.
What the free plan does anyway
The public status page, deploy webhooks and fingerprint detection, the Ship Score, the domain and its certificate, the “What changed” strip and 30 CI checks per month. You can therefore connect a CI and publish a status page without paying; what is paid for is the frequency, the number of URLs and the deploy checks.
When you hit a limit, the message names your plan, the next plan, what it changes on exactly that limit, and its price. Changing plan is done on Billing → Plans; the public grid is on /pricing.
Troubleshooting
Why “You have reached the 5 URLs of the Discover plan” when I deleted a project?
The URL quota is counted over all your projects. Check each remaining project's URLs list. A payment journey takes no slot there: it has its own per-project limit.
Why does the check still run every 5 minutes after switching to Pro?
The plan changes when Stripe confirms the payment to PostShip, usually within the following seconds. If the interval hasn't moved after a few minutes, reload Billing: the “Current plan” line is authoritative.
Why does a Pro Plus feature appear greyed out on my Pro plan?
Each card reserved to a higher plan stays visible, folded, with a summary and a link to the billing: you know what exists without having to search.
Billing
Changing plan, cancelling, the billing address and the invoices — everything that touches your Stripe subscription.
PostShip bills through Stripe. The Billing group of the menu — Subscription, Invoices, Plans — shows your plan, lets you change it, and reads from Stripe what you paid — Stripe remains the source of truth, PostShip only reflects it. Nothing is charged without a Stripe confirmation screen showing the amount before you click.
Paid plans are billed from the day you subscribe, with no trial period. The free plan remains, without a card and without a time limit (plans).
Change plan
On Billing → Plans, choose monthly or yearly, then Switch to Pro or Switch to Pro Plus; Switch to yearly or Switch to monthly changes the frequency on the same plan; Go back to free cancels. Billing → Subscription offers the same moves in its options (Frequency, Cancel).
- First subscription: you go through Stripe's payment page, billing address required. On return, the page shows the new plan.
- Upgrade, or switch to yearly: takes effect right away. Only the difference is charged, prorated over the time left in the current period, with the card on file; the panel shows the amount before you confirm, and your bank may ask for a confirmation.
- Downgrade, or back to free: takes effect at the end of the already paid period. You keep what you bought to the end, and nothing is billed in between. The page announces it: “Change scheduled on 12 October 2026 — you keep your current plan until the end of the already paid period, then you switch to Pro.” The Cancel this change button removes it as long as it hasn't happened; choosing another replaces it.
- Yearly subscription: an email warns you a month before it renews, with the date and the amount. Cancelling before that date avoids any charge.
The plan applied to your account follows the subscription's state at Stripe: active, trialing and past_due open the rights; unpaid, canceled, incomplete or paused close them, and the account falls back to Discover. Your projects and URLs aren't deleted; the features reserved to paid plans fold, as the cards show.
A payment that fails
A declined charge doesn't cut the plan: Stripe retries by itself for several days, and the plan stays open as long as the subscription is in past_due. Billing → Subscription says so above the invoices — “A payment failed. Pay the invoice to avoid the plan being suspended.” — with the Pay now button. Only once Stripe has given up (unpaid) does the account fall back to Discover.
The billing address
Each workspace has its own, printed on its invoices. It's asked for at the first payment, in the Stripe form; PostShip then copies it onto the workspace. It's editable on Billing → Subscription, Billing address section, at the bottom of the page (the Edit button leads there) — by the workspace owner only: line 1, line 2 (optional), city, postal code, country. It appears on the following invoices; already issued invoices don't change.
The invoices
Every payment is confirmed by email, with its invoice link: the first one, each renewal, each plan change. PostShip also writes to you when a cancellation or a plan change is scheduled, when a payment is declined and when a refund goes out.
Billing → Invoices lists what Stripe issued — the last 3 are also on Subscription: number, date, amount, state, with a link to see the invoice at Stripe and one to download the PDF. The states: Paid, To settle, Payment failed (Stripe tried and will retry, the next attempt's date is shown), Draft, Voided, Uncollectible. Above, the renewal date — “Renews on …” or “Ends on …” if a cancellation is scheduled.
“History temporarily unavailable” means Stripe didn't answer; your invoices and payments aren't affected.
Payment and invoices, on Subscription, opens the Stripe portal, where you change the card, update the billing email or cancel; Change card leads there directly.

Troubleshooting
Why does the page still show Pro Plus after clicking “Switch to Pro”?
A downgrade is deferred to the end of the paid period. The “Change scheduled on …” banner confirms it; nothing failed.
Why “You are already on the Discover plan”?
Go back to free without an ongoing subscription has nothing to cancel. If a subscription nevertheless exists at Stripe, go through Payment and invoices.
How are the plans written in the API?
free for Discover, pro for Pro, pro_plus for Pro Plus (API). They are the same plans.
