Real experience
Your real visitors' Web Vitals — LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB — per page, device, country and day, and the gap with what the monitor sees from Paris.
Pro plan and aboveUpdated on 17 September 2026
On this page
The monitor measures your site from Paris, every five minutes, with a cold cache: that is the lab. Your visitors arrive from a phone on 4G in Lyon or an office in Montreal, with or without cache: that is the real thing. The Real experience page (Project → Quality → Real experience) reads that real thing, as the Real vitals snippet sends it back — anonymous by design — and slices it so that it says something.
What PostShip does
The four vitals
Over the chosen window (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days) and device (all, mobile, desktop), the p75 of each vital — the value under which three visitors out of four sit, the one Google keeps — with its class at the official thresholds:
| Vital | Good | Needs improvement | Poor |
|---|---|---|---|
| LCP — the largest visible element shows in | ≤ 2.5 s | ≤ 4 s | beyond |
| INP — the page responds to a click in | ≤ 200 ms | ≤ 500 ms | beyond |
| CLS — what moves during loading | ≤ 0.1 | ≤ 0.25 | beyond |
| TTFB — the first byte arrives in | ≤ 800 ms | ≤ 1.8 s | beyond |
For LCP, the bar shows the share of page views that are good, needing improvement, poor.
Lab and real
The monitor's TTFB over the same window, against the visitors' p75 TTFB. Close (within 25%): the monitor sees what your visitors see. Real much slower: mobile network, distance to the server, cold cache — the per-country and per-device reading says which. Real faster: a CDN serving the cache where they are.
By page, device, country, day
Four cuts of the same reality. By page, most viewed first, with the LCP bar. By device: mobile and desktop do not experience the same site. By country: where visitors come from and what they wait for — the country comes from the host's header when the measurement is received, the address is never kept; measurements before 17 September 2026 have none. By day: the p75 LCP of each day in the window.
Settings
Nothing to set here: the snippet is installed and enabled from Performance, Real vitals tab. Until it is active, the page says so.
What triggers an alert
No new alert: visitor errors after a deployment (Performance) already alert. This page is there to understand.

Troubleshooting
“Unknown” among the countries
The measurement arrived without a country header — outside the host, or before the country was recorded. Nothing to do; the next measurements will have one.
Few page views, values that move
A p75 over ten measurements says little. Widen the window: over thirty days, the reading settles.
CLS at 0 everywhere
A CLS of 0 is good news when the observer exists; “unsupported” does not count as 0, and is not counted.
